WILKINS' WORRY.
KEEPING COOL AT THE POLE. NEW YORK, February 12. Sir Henry Wilkins, who is to go to the North Pole in a submarine, says that instead of worrying about being able to keep warm, he has been forced to find means to keep cold inside the submarine, Which will be accomplished by means of an electric refrigerating apparatus. In order to avoid the condensation of moisture, which would result if the inside were warmer than the water, Sir Henry said a sub-zero temperature would be maintained inside the vessel, except in the drying chamber,' in. which moisture-' absorbing chemicals would be kept.
