BEACH MOTOR RACES.
AUSTRALASIAN CHAMPIONSHIP EVENTS AT MURIWAI. "■ - ; All the fastest cars in New Zealand will be seen in action at Muriwai Beach to-morrow. Record entries have been received for the annual meeting of the Muriwai Racing Club, and the programme promises to be by far the most successful yet held-Twenty-six motor ears and, 14 motor cycles have been entered for the various events. The big race of the day will be the Australasian Beach championship, for which six cars have been entered, i including the" Stutz, the present holder, This year the Stutz will be driven by Cooper. The cars and their drivers will be: Shorter's Essex. McGrath's Rugby, Smith's Riloy, C'oo|ior> Stutz, Roycroft'a Bugatli, and Sutherland's Stutz. The New Zealand Beach Handicap should prove to be another thrilling event. AM races thi* year will be run in full view of -the public, who will be able, to see the whole course. Spectators will be allowed to park their cars 011 the beach. The proceeds of the meeting will be given to the ''Star's" earthquake relief fund.
