WOOL TRADE.
WELLINGTON SALE TO-DAY. OPENS WITH GOOD TONE. t' JANUARY LEVELS RESTORED. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.)- ; WELLINGTON, this day. At the wool sale there was a catalogue of 15,000 bales. The market opened with a good tone and the opinion is that January levels have been restored. Growers are meeting the market. Bradford and the Continent are keen and good wools are bringing decidedly better prices. Lambs are strong in quality but the demand is limited. Merinos and halfbreds are a liaupenny better than January rates, bellws and pieces are dearer by a farthing to a halfpenny. A speculative demand is apparent. The tojic of the market ;ias decidedly improved out no sensational rise is looked for. BRADFORD QUIET. .LONDON, February 12. (Received 12.30 p.m.) Bradford is inactive. Turnover is limited. Prices are firm and unchajged. • .
