CHURCH REUNION. SYNOD GIVES INVITATION. PROPOSAL FOR CONFERENCE. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, .Thursday. The General Synod of the Anglican Church this evening passed the following resolution:—"That this synod invites the leaders of the "non-Episcopal Churches to confer with the representatives of the Anglican Church with a view to exploring the possibilities of reunion, and that representatives of the Anglican Church be appointed by the primate as occasion may require, in consultation with the bishop of the diocese where such conference or conferences may take place."
