OUTBOARD RACING.
HANDICAPS FOR PANMURE. to-morrows Proceeds for EARTHQUAKE FUND. The outboard division of the New Zealand Power Boat Association will hold a meeting to-morrow afternoon on the Panmure Basin. Eight events will be decided, including the Golden Pennant race and an attack on the lap record now held by Miss Wilma. All net proceeds are to be donated to the earthquake relier fund, and a big attendance of the public is hoped for. The first race will start at 2.45 p.m., events following at short intervals. The entries and handicaps are as' follow: — .. Eace 1, 3-minute Hydroplanes, to start at 2.45 p.m., 4 laps.—T.N.T., limit; Zip, Miss Cleveland, 20s behind; British Maid and Blue Bird, 30s;*Itsit, 40s; Nymph, jun., lm. , - Race 2, 2m 10s Hydroplanes, to start at 3.5 p.m.—Gee Whiz, limit; Flaming Youth, 20s behind; Pegasus, 3os; Elto, 455; Holdfast, Pug, Miss Wilma, lm. Race 3.—Attack on the lap record of 1.12 3-5 held by Miss Wilma, holder to receive silver pennant donated by Mr. S. Ashby to start at 3.25 p.m.—Entries: Pug, Elto, Holdfast. Race 4.—Runabout Handicap, 4 laps, to start at 3.40 p.m.—Redskin, limit; Chancit, 15s behind; Lady Eve, lm los; Nymph, lm 355; Velox, Pastime, lm 50s. Race 5.—3 m Class, Sweepstake, to start at 4 p.m. Entries, same as race 1. Race 6. —Golden Pennant Championship, to start at 4.20 p.m.—Competitors: Elto, Miss Wilma, Pug, Silvertown Kid. Race 7.—Runabout Sweepstake, to start at 4.40 p.m. Entries, same as race 4. Race 8. —2.10 Sweepstake, to start at 5 p.m. Entries, same as race 2.
