MAUNGANUI IN PORT.

RANGITIKI TO LOAD

Two hundred and forty passengers arrived at Auckland from Sydney' this morning by the Maunganui, which is now discharging at the Queen's wharf.

Several overseas vessels are due here before the end of the week. The Onden, from Los Angeles,, and the Kangitiki, from the South, for Homeward loading, are due on Thursday, while the Herminius should arrive about Saturday with basic slag from Antwerp.

H.M.s. Dunedin docked this morning for cleaning and painting. The A.H.B. dredge Hapai arrived at Onerahi from Auckland at 10.30 p.m. yesterday. The Federal steamer Norfolk sails at noon to-morrow for Gisborne, Napier, Waikokopu. Wellington and Lyttelton to fill up for London. En route from Liverpool, with general cargo for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton and Dunedin, the New Zealand Shipping Co.'s motor ship Otnio is reported to have arrived at Colon on Saturday. From Sydney, the Huddart Parker passenger steamer Ulunaroa arrived at Wellington this morning. She is to sail again for Sydney on Friday. THE CITY OF. GLASGOW. In continuation of her voyage from New York, the A. and A. Line's chartered steamer City of Glasgow sails at daybreak to-morrow for Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin and Sydney. WAIRUNAS SAILING. To continue discharge of her general cargo from Pacific Coast ports, the Union Company's steamer Wairuna sails at S p.m. to-morrow for Wellington, Melbourne ana Sydney. MAUNGANUI IN PORT. With passengers, mails and cargo from Sydney, the Union Company's steamer Maunganui arrived at Auckland this morniii" and berthed at the Queen's wharf, bhc is to sail again for Sydney on Friday. • . RUAHINE REPORTS. A radio from the New Zealand Shipping Company's passenger steamer Ruahine states that she expects to arrive at Wellington from London and Southampton on January 24, two days '"ahead of schedule. MAIMOA COMING. Cabled advice from Liverpool states that the Shaw, Savill and Albion steamer Mairaoa was dispatched from there last Saturday with general cargo-for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton and Dunedin. She is due here about February 24. RANGITIKI TO LOAD. Leaving Napier to-day, the New Zealand Shipping Company's motor ship Rangitikl is due at Auckland at daybreak on Thursday for final homeward loading. She is announced to sail on January 31 with passengers, mails and cargo for Southampton and London. UNION COMPANY'S STEAMERS. The Waiinea sails for Gisborne and Napier at 5 p.m. to-day. The Waimarino arrived from the south this morning, and berthed at the Prince's wharf. She sails at 10 p.m. to-day for Portland, and returns to Auckland on •■Thursday to fill up for Wellington, Lyttelton. Dunedin and Timaru. The Kaimanawa shifted to Chelsea this morning, and is to sail to-morrow -afternoon for Portland, and thence Westport to load for Auckland. The Kanna loads for Auckland at Westport to-day. The Karepo is expected to clear Greymouth for Auckland at noon to-morrow.
