• With shaded lights and a cool atmosphere on the large dance floor, the Dixieland cabaret was an enjoyable place to attend on Saturday evening. The latest dance tunes were played by the orchestra, and encores were given over and over again. The sea breeze wafting in through the wide open windows added to the enjoyment, and those, wishing to have a rest from dancing were able to sit and enjoy the beautiful harbour view. Paper caps and other novelties which were distributed during the evening made things very bright. Among the dancers were: Mrs. James Smith, who wore a frock of floral tinted georgette; Mrs. K.
