Mrs. J. Williams has returned to Claudelands after spending a holiday in Tauranga. Mrs. T. Slade has returned to Hamilton from an extended holiday spent in Xew Guinea. Mre. C. Beale hag returned to Auckland from a visit to her mother, Mrs. L. Cussen, Hamilton. Mrs. G. Hill, of Hamilton, is away on a holiday visit to Xapier. Mrs. P. Harkness has returned to Hamilton from a. visit to Rotorua and the youth. Mrs. Guy Bindon, of Hamilton, has been staying at Thames beach. Miss K. Brabant, of Napier, is spending a holiday in Cambridge. Miss M. Colson has returned to Gisborne from a visit to Hamilton. Mrs. Parnham has returned to Christchurch after spending a holiday in Cambridge. Mrs. A. Joseph has returned to Hamilton from a holiday spent with relatives in GUbornc. Mrs. Tod has returned to Cambridge after being away at the Mount, Tauranga. Miss B. Taylor, of Wellington, is on a visit to Morrinsville. Mrs. B, Heald, of/Feilding, is spending a holiday in Hamilton. Mrs. E. Greenslade, of Wairoa, is the guest of Mrs. H. Greenslade, "Wairere," Hamilton. Mrs. J. 0. MacKenzie, of Wairoa, Hawke's Bay, was in Hamilton during the week. Mrs. H. I. Biggs, of St. Helier's Bay, has been visiting relatives in Hamilton; Mrs. G. Coleman, of Dargaville, has -been on

a visit to Hamilton: Mrs. E. B. Heywood and Miss H. Heywood have returned to Hamilton from a visit of several months abroad. Mrs. G. Grower, of St. Helier's Bay, Auckland, was in Hamilton during the week. Mrs. D. Seymour hae returned to Hamilton after spending a holiday at Lake Rotorua. Mrs-. H. KF. Hallett, has returned to Claudelands from a holiday- visit to Ostend. Mrs. E. Greenslade has returned to Hamilton from a holiday spent in Tauraiiga. Mrs. G. McLeod, of Hastings, after staying in Hamilton, has gone on to Auckland. Miss A. Holloway, of Hamilton, is on a visit to Nelson. Mrs. W. A. Oliver has returned to "Wartlo," Matangi, from a. visit to Wanganui. Mrs. H. V. Gully, of Wellington, is the guest of Mrs. P. H. Bell, Claudelands. Mrs. H. Holloway, of Russell, is the guest of Mrs W. Chitty, "Brooklyn," Claudelands. Mrs. W. Cole, of Hamilton, is staying in Dunedin.

On Wednesday afternoon the members of the Taupiri Croquet Club held an At Home on their croquet lawns. Various' competitions were held during the afternoon's play. The winners were: Mrs. S. A musical evening was enjoyed by a number of friefids of Mr. and Mrs. J. Davis at their home in Cambridge recently. Those present were: Mr. and Mrs. Keyworth (Pukekura), Mr. and Mrs. V.
