(By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) WHANGAEEI, this day. For the fourth time since the dry season, the Whangarei Fire Brigade has been called out to a grass fire, on this occasion to one in Cross Street. The brigadesmen say that these grass fires involve as, much cleaning up 'of gear as a really big outbreak. Yesterday it was necessary to use 400 ft of hose.
