WHANGAREI PAIRS TOURNEY. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) WHANGAREI,' this day. Sixteen pairs participated in the fourth bowling tournament, played under electric light, at the Whangarei green. (fribble and Birch had an outright -win, going through the three rounds without defeat. The skips to register two wins -were Courtney, Kerr and Eccles.
