CHRISTIAN CONVENTION.

SUCCESSFUL GATHERING. (From Our Own Correspondent.) WAIMAUIvU, this day. The first United Christian Convention to be conducted in North Auckland on "Keswick" lines was held in Waimauku last Friday, Saturday and Sunday. During the week-days Bible study was conducted, and addresses were given by Dr. W. Pettit, Mr. Alec Mill (Egypt General Mission), Mr. H. G. Conway (president of the Auckland Missionary Association), and the Rev. Evan Harries (chairman of the Cambridge Convention). On Sunday a united Communion service and young people's rally was conducted by Mr. Howard Knight, and an evangelistic service by Mr. T. Fitzgerald, both of the New Zealand Bible Training Institute. The convention liae been such a success that the committee have decided to continue it next year.
