MOTORING MIX-UP.
TWO CYCLES AND A CAR.
PEOPLE INJURED.
ACCIDENT AT WELLINGTON,
(From Our Own Cdrrespondent.) , WELLINGTON,' this day. Two motor cycles, each -with a pillion rider, collided with a motor car, which was emerging from the Tawa Flat recreation ground at 4.30 p.m. yesterday. Of the four people, besides the motorist, who were concerned in the smash, three were taken by the city ambulance to the Wellington Hospital. No one was injured severely. Mr. Morris Raymond Adcock, of Yule Street, Kilbirnie, was riding a motor cycle towards Wellington with Miss Iris Clark, of Bay Road, on the pillion seat. As he approached the recreation ground at Tawa Flat, a car was driven out of the ground by Mr. Ralston, of Tawa Flat. Mr. Adcock's machine came into collision with t,he car, and both he and his passenger were thrown heavily. Another motor cycle, which was travelling behind Mr. Adcock, reached tile car, and also collided with it. The second motor cycle was driveii by Mr. Charles Little, of Coutts Street, whose passenger was Miss Phyllis Swiney, of Rintoul Street. They also fell heavily. The ambulance was called at 4,35 p.m., and it conveyed three, of the motor cyclists to the hospital. Mr. Little-is suffering from injuries to the right leg; Miss Clark, injuries to her leftleg; and Miss Swiney, abrasions to the face. All three weife affected by shock. - \ •
