ATTEMPT TO BURN CHURCH.
LIQUID UNDER DOOR,
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) NAPIER, this day. An attempt to destroy the St. Patrick's Church was perpetrated in the early hours of the morning. The outbreak started under a side door, where liquid had been placed. A hole was. burnt in the floor,and the sides of the ' porch were scorched. The damage amounted to about £25.
