SCRUB FIRE SPREADS.
MINE BUILDING DESTROYED,
(From Our Own Correspondent.) THAMES, this day. A fire at noon yesterday totally destroyed the buildings at the Hauraki North mine at Coromandel. Picnickers lighted a scrub fire, which got away and swept through the buildings. The Winding engine, air compressor, and Cornish boiler Wrire all destroyed. The insurances on the property and plant _are not available.
