TENNIS TITLE MATCHES. I AUCKLAND C GRADE CONTESTS. Heavy rain caused the postponement to-day of play in -the annual championship tournament for outer suburban clubs and Auckland C grade plavcrs conducted by -the Auckland Lawn Tennis Association. A start was made on' the Domain courts at 9 a.m. with tho matches set down for to-day, but it was subsequently found necessary to transfer the contests to the "Stanley. Stjreet'. courts, where conditions were more - favourable! However, none of; the games had been completed when rain necessitated a cessation of play until, to-irnorrow.
