OLD DEALER'S DEATH.
"SOME CORROSIVE POISON"
LEFT PROPERTY WORTH £3000.
A verdict that Thomas George, a retired dealer, aged 67, died from heart failure following a dose of some corrosive poison was returned by the coroner, Mr. F. K. Hunt, S.M., at the inquest held yesterday. Mr. Hunt added that there woe not enough evidence to show whether George had taken the poison accidentally or intentionally. George died in a Vincent Street 'hoardinghouse on the morning of December 23. He had lived a frugal life, but it was found that he had left money and securities. totalling £3000.
