DANCING AT THE CIVIC.
The New Year was ushered in with mucli mirth and merriment at the Civic Winter Garden, a gay battle with snowballs providing the dancers with a happy outlet for holiday spirits. Asthe midnight hour chimed a specially trained ballet of 12 children heralded the New Year, and those present were further entertained by Trevor and Dawn, Apache dancers. . The Winter Garden Band was in the best of form and dispensed a bright selection of dance tunes. Among the merrymakers were: Miss M. Bulford, white lace, uneven hem; Miss C.
