TO-DAY'S RACE FROCKS.

FLOWING DRAPERIES.

NAVY BLUE FAVOURED

COLOURED GLOVES AND SHOES,

The drop in temperature which heralded in to-day's racing only added pleasure to the day, and led to the wearing of a few choice wraps to protect "the dainty. gowns. There were to be seen at Alexandra Park many delightful frocks showing fashion's latest decree of flowing draperies and soft colourings. In satin crepes and the heavier materials navy blue was the favoured colour, and, relieved with harmonising tones, was particularly smart. Cream also held a high position in the line of choice, and some very smart suits were noticed.
