Race Frocks.

At Alexandra Park.—Beautiful \ Colourings.—Ankle-Length , Hems. Beautiful weather assures the sue- , cess of the parade on the lawn at the racecourses, and to-day, when the Auckland Trotting Club held its first meeting for the summer season, there was a splendid array of beautiful models. The flimsiest of materials were worn, and accompanying these were wide-brimmed hats which looked very attractive as their wearers walked the green sward. Those racegoers who preferred the moro simple and plain styles were seen in smart little suits hTlMit summer materials, and in these cases smaller and closer fitting hats were worn. Standing on the promenade of the main stand and looking back on the green lawns a delightful sight was presented by the beautiful colours of the frocks of the lady visitors to the course. rr Among those present were:—Mrs. l.
