LOWER BANK RATE.
REDUCJTION IN NEW YORK. WASHINGTON, December 25. The Federal Reserve Board has announced that the New Y6rk Federal Reserve Bank has decided to reduce its rediscount rate from 2£ to 2 per cent.
The new rate will be effective from December 24. It is the lowest in the history of the Federal reserve banking system.
