DAIRY PRICES. BUTTER MARKET FIRM. LONDON, December 24. The butter market is firm. Danish is quoted at 140/, choicest salted New Zealand, 112/ to 114/; Australian, 110/ to 112/. Unsalted: New Zealand, 114/ to 118/; Australian, 110/ to 112/. _ The cheese market is dull. New Zealand coloured is quoted at 59/ to 60/, white 61/.
Dalgety and Co., Ltd., has received the following cablegram from its London principals, Samuel Page and Son, dated December 23: —Butter: The market is steady at present prices. New Zealand finest salted, 111/ to 114/; Danish, 140/ to 142/; Australian, finest unsalted, 110/ to 112/; finest salted, 109/ to 111/; general average quality, 104/, to 108/. Cheese: The market is slow. New Zealand, white, 59/ to 61/: coloured, 58/ to 59/; Canadian, white, 72/ to 78/; coloured, 72/ to 78/. Australian, white, 58/ to 60/; coloured, 57/ to 58/.
AUSTRALIAN PRODUCE. MELBOURNE, December 25. The following are yesterday's quotations on the Melbourne produce markets:— Wheat, no business; flour, £8 to £S 5/; bran, £4; pollard, £4 15/; oats, 1/8 to 1/9; barley, English, 2/9 to 2/10; maize, 4/. '
