PRESENTATION.
Mr. H. S. Adams, -who is retiring from the position of stationmaster at Auckland after 35 years' service in the Railway Department, was presented, by the staff at the station with a wallet, a fountain pen and a set of military hair brushes. Mr. W. Thompson, assistanistationmaster, took the opportunity to extend a welcome to Mr. A. S. Campbell, who has been appointed to fill Mr. Adams' place. \
