AIRMAN'S FUNERAL
CEREMONY AT WAIKABAKA. VERY LARGE ATTENDANCE. One of the largest funerals. seen in Onehunga for many years was that yesterday of Mr. Cyril Herbert Olsen, who was killed in an aeroplane accident at Mangere East last Monday. All the organisations with which Mr. Olsen had been connected were represented. There was a short service at the residence before the cortege, consisting of 54 cars, went to the Waikaraka Cemetery, where the Rev. E. T. Olds conducted the burial service in the presence of about 300 people. The Auckland Aero Club was represented by Mr. Spencer R. Mason, president, and by members of the committee, while Flight-Lieutenant S. Wallingford represented /the. Air Force. Representatives were also present from Milne and Choyce, Ltd., the Manukau Cruising Club, Auckland Grammar School Old Boys' Association, the Sargood, Son, and Ewen football team, the Waterside Workers' Union, and various athletic clubs.
