OBITUARY.

MR. THOMAS P. KELLY.

A former resident of the Wade (now Silverdale), Mr. Thomas Patrick Kelly, died at Matiere, aged 8S yeans. He was a son of Mr. Maurice Kelly, of the Wade, who lived to bo over a century. Sir. T. P. Kelly lived at the Wade for sixtyyears', and received his education at the Catholic College, Takapuna. Twenty years ago he took tip land at Nihoniho. He is survived by the following children: Mrs. Drinnan (Auckland), Mrs. W. Bnm-ton (Wharepoa), Colin (Purirti), Robert, Louis, William, Foster, Gordon and Thomas (Matiere). Another son, Francis, was killed on Gallipoli.

MAJOR T. H. TENNENT, 0.8.E,

Information has been received of the death on October 24, in Bedford, England, of Major Thomas Hastings T<mnent, 0.8. E., late of the Royal Engineers, aged 70 years. Major Tennent lived at Devon-port from 1921 to 1924, when he icTt for England, accompanied by his daughter, Miss I. M. Tennent, and Ms adopted daughter, Miss D. R. Stephens.

MR. NORMAN F. GOODALL.

A well-known 'business man. of Te Awamutu, Mr. Norman F. Goodall, died on December 14 at the age of 47 years. He was. born in North Auckland district and was for a few years with the firm of Hallensteiu Bros", in Auckland. Later he was appointed manager of the firm's branch at Cambridge, and afterwards transferred to a similar position at Hamilton. About fifteen years ago die started business on hie own account at Te Awamutu. Mr. Goodall took keen interest in athletics, notably the Wai pa Rugby Union, of -which body he was a life member, and the.Te Awamutu Bowling Club. Hie wife, formerly Miss Swayne, of the Cambridge district, and a family of four sons and one daughter survive him.
