UNIFICATION IN NELSON
CONFERENCE TO BE HELD. (By Telegraph.—l'ress Association.) NELS6N, this day. In connection wltli & proposal in the Atmoi'e Education Report, the following resolution was carried by the Nelson College Council:—"That the Minister of Education be asked to arrange for the Director of Education or one of his senior officers, and the Superintendent of Technical 'Education, to meet the College Council as early as possible, to consider the question of the college's undertaking technical education in 'Nelson, and also to consider the representation on .the council of the technical interests necessary to meet the change in control." •
The Minister states that a conference will be held about the middle of next month.
