FIRST ROUND RESULTS. * SYDNEY, October 6. The second round matches in the grade cricket competition will be played to a finish. In the first round Balmain beat Gordon outright on the first innings. Wins were scored by Paddington against University; St. George against Western' Suburbs; Northern Districts against Manly; Mosman against Glebe; Petersham against Marrickville. North Sydney drew with Waverley. In the competition the points are as follows: —Eight for an outright win, five for a win on the first innings, four for a draw, three for a loss on the first innings.
