NAVY MEN ARRESTED. Hissed Captain, Overstayed Leave. JACK TARS OBJECT TO FOOD. (United P.A.—Electric Telegraph—Copyright) (Received 1.30 p.m.) NICE, October 6. Vice-Admiral Kelly, commanding the First Battle Squadron, is holding an inquiry aboard the Revenge owing to over 50 of her crew having overstayed shore leave. It is alleged that they hissed and jeered Captain Troup when lie went ashore. The men, it is reported, objected to the quality of the food. The French police arrested 40, who are at present lodged in the ship's prison. Two have not returned and are posted as deserters.
