Tho I'aroa, lioad is under water and the main road between Cameron's and Kumara is also affected. Rivers are in flood and creeks arc running bank high. Serious damage near Stafford is reported. A big slip near tho tunnel of the hydro-electric works at Kaimata brought down 3000 tons of soil, blocking the outlet, and tho tunnel is now full of water. All work has been suspended but the. outlook is now better, as the rain eased this morning.
