PLEA FOR ARMS. (Received 11.30 a.m.) PARIS, September 29. An amazing outbreak of crime against taxi-drivers renders their occupation a most hazardous one. There were two more cases to-day of drivers being held up on lonely roads after their cabs had been engaged. The attacks made on them coincide with a regular crime wave in the capital. A proposal is afoot to allow taxi-drivers to be , armed.
