MAJESTIC THEATRE. A dramatic story of men's emotions when trapped in a sunken submarine io unfolded in "Adventures of Submarine 513," which is now showing at the Majestic; Theatre. The dramatic nature of the story is intensified by the absence of subsidiary themes to detract from the interest of the story. The programme will be changed to-morrow, when ''Young Eagles" will be the chief attraction. The men who made "Wings" ' are again seen in ''Young Eagles, ,, described as the "Wings" of the talking* screen. Charles (Buddy) Rogers appears once more as the daring "ace" of the air. Jean Arthur plays opposite him. The story is intense and combines romance with exciting drama, and fighting in midair. A splendid programme of featurettes ie announced. LITTLE THEATRE SOCIETY. To-morrow evening will eec the opening of the Little Theatre Society's presentation "Jane Clegg,"' which will run for a season of four days at the Town Hall concert chamber. This will be the first of St. John Ervine's plays to be played in New Zealand. A strong cast is announced and Miss Mona Wallbank will play the lead. "TUTANKHAMEN." First presented in 1923, ''Tutankhamen," the locally written musical success, is being revived by the Amateur Operatic Society, and is now running at His Majesty's "Theatre. All the charm of the original has been retained, although the music has been revised and the plot brought into line with contemporary events. Features are a chorus of 05, a ballet of -0 and a cast of 10 principal players, all of whom are talented artists. ROXY THEATRE! Comedy is the keynote of the doublefeature programme which is now showing at the Boxy Theatre. Both pictures presented are British. The chief attraction is "Raise the Roof," starring Betty Balfour, famous English comedienne. Tho story is one of theatrical life. The second feature is "Sisters," in which the two Irish actresses, Molly O'Day and Sally O'Neil take the leading parts. The picture is a lovable and funny story of real life. . " ? OLD-TIME HYMN HARMONIC. The success which attended the first gathering of the "Old-time Hymn -Harmonic" in Eady's Hall was such that another . one is to be held to-morrow from 12.30, to 1.30. About 200 men attended the last gathering and evidently enjoyed singing the old hymns. All men are invited to be present.
