(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. The rep. Rugby match, Taranaki versus Wellington, here on Saturday marked the finish of the playing career of C. G. Porter, Questioned by a reporter as to whether hp would be taking part in club football, he replied in the negative. He would, however, he said, take an active interest in the game.
