MRS. BRUCE'S ORDEAL.

ALMOST HOPELESSLY LOST. (Received 1.30 p.m.) VIENNA, September 2G. Mrs. Victor Bruce, who ]eft Heston aerodrome, England, yesterday on a solo flight to Japan, arrived here to-day on her second hop from Munich. She experienced terrible weatlier and had to fly over hills, in the course of which she appeared to be hopelessly lost. When she found her bearings she realised that the petrol tank was leaking and was within an inch of exhaustion. Mrs. Bruce hopes to continue her flight to-morrow.
