Federal Cabinet Hastening Budget Scheme. HIGHER TAXES INEVITABLE. SYDNEY, September 26. As the outcome of persistent Press criticism and pressure by State Ministers, the Federal Labour Cabinet is now hastening its scheme for balancing the Budget.
