MR. RABBIT'S PYJAMAS.

Mr. Rabbit bad a beautiful pair with purple cauliflower* on » one Rabbit was hanging ,° • and day, when the Wicked T.fe. • took a great fancy to them.

So he stole them and tried them on at home. They didn't fit very well, but he was quite satisfied and wore them all day, as well as all night.

Mr. Rabbit was dreadfully upset at the loss of his pyjamas. He sent for Tai Ho, chief of the Tee Wee Tribe, .and promised him a reward if he brought them back. Tai Ho soon found out where they were.

It was rather hard to see how to get them back, as the Tiki wore them all the time. But presently he had an idea and got together a lot of his beetle friends.

Off they marched to the Wicked Tiki's house one evening when he had gone to bed early, and there he was snoring like anything, "Now beetles," said Tai Ho, "at him and annoy him so much that he throws off his clothes."

So the beetles did. They swarmed all over the Tiki and crawled inside his pyjamas, and bit his ears and tickled his back, till he flung off his pyjamas and ran for his life. Tai Ho got Mr. Rabbit's reward and shared it with the beetles.
