FREE ADVICE DOING WELL. (By Telegraph.—Special to "Star.") CHRISTCHURCH, Friday. Free Advice looks in fine order and does a lot of her training work without the hopples. The ex-Auckland pacer should race well this season over any distance. , Hostess looks in good order, ana tne ex-North Island pacer may race better in her future races. . ~ J. J. Kennerley is persevering with trotter Nourmahal, and he. may win race with her over a mile and a n course. Nourmahal has a deal speed but is deficient in stamina, an two-mile races seem to be beyond er powers. She is trotting solidly in her work at present, but is not being sen along at top speed. . , J. Wright's maiden, by Logan F° in _ ' is now showing improvement m er training work, and she may be use u later. The three-year-old pacer by Happy Voyage in W. J. Tomkinson's stable, is now being moved along at a faster spee and i 3 pacing satisfactorily. J. Davidson is sending the trotter Bonora along in training, and she i fast coming to her best speed. She i a useful sort, who may show some improvement this season. . Admiral Bingen's tasks on the training track are usually of the "gates . He does a lot of steady work, and t form of training is undoubtedly sa i factory, as he does not pull s0 T as formerly, and settles down easily to steady work. Admiral Bingen has a dash of speed, and is a smart begmn . He is improving in stamina, anc * ? fine voting trotter promises to reach very* best class. F. G. Holmes deserves a lot of credit for the manner m w i he has improved the Nelson Bingen horse, though he still requires careful handlin o m training work.
