SCHOOL STEEPLECHASE.
EVENT AT THAMES. The Thames High School steeplechase was held on Wednesday afternoon, when 73 out of SS starters crossed the finishing line. The time, considering the hilly country, was good. The Thames Old Boys' Association J übilee Shield was -won by K. Green, while the fastest time was achieved by R. G. Strong. Details are : — Fastest Time. —Senior: R. G. Strong, 15m 30s. Junior: H. C. Harwood, 17m 17s. Jubilee Shield. —K. Green. Runner-up, H. Robinson. Championship Points.—Senior:- K.; G. Strong 5. G. Allan 3. Donovan 2. Junior: H. Harwood 5, H. \V, Burley 3, K. Green
