MT. EDEN METHODISTS.
SUCCESSFUL CHURCH FAIR. As a result of tli-e spring fair organised ,br the Ladies' Guild, the Mount Eden Methodist Church debt extinction fund benefited to the extent of £132. Ihc fair, -which was opened by Mr. Areli Peak, was a marked success. The daintily de'eorated stalls were in charge of the following:—Work stall Mesdames T. Clarl* (president of the guild), Hodge, Tyler and Fowler; cakes, Mesdauies Armitage, Turner, Thomas and Dobson and Miss A. Mason; produce, Mesdames Maclcay, Stone and Fenton; tearoom, Mesdames F. Dobson, Dixon, Foster and Lane and Miss Reid; flowers, Mesdames Olds, Scott and Firth; fancy, the choir, under Miss M. Forsyth; sweets, the Girls' Bible classes; miscellaneous, Mrs. Deau.
