THE MONEY MARKET. NEW YORK CALL RATES. (Received 2.30 p.m.) NEW YORK, September 26. Call money ruled at 2 per cent all day. NEW YORK "BEAR" RAID. STOCKS AT NEW LOW LEVELS. (Received 2 p.m.) NEW YORK, September 26. One hundred and forty issues on the stock hit new lows for the year when bear raids caused declines of one to over eight points. Trading was heavy and about 100 of lows were lows for all time and widely distributed, particularly motors and coppers.
