CANCER CAMPAIGN.
PROFITABLE SHOP DISPLAY.
At the executive meeting of the Cancer Campaign Society last evening marked progress was reported. The shop display in aid of the funds had cost only 3/9 in expenses, and the donation of 'the Auckland Manufacturers' Association represented approximately £1000, which was a handsome gift. More than twenty women's organisations had helped in attending the display in the Queen's Arcade Building. It was reported that projected efforts in raising funds included a theatre week from October 25 to November 1, and a <reat display of eurhythmies in the Domain. This display, it was stated, was being organised by Madame Edith Baird and would be the biggest of the kind ever undertaken in New Zealand.
