FLUCTUATIONS IN SHARES. •! A DULL MARKET. A fail" number of sales have been concluded since the noon call yesterday, bnt there has been no improvement in the market tone. New Zealand Insurances sold 1/ cheaper this morning at £1 18/G, and this is in accord with the general trend. At the call only three lines of bank shares received attention from buyers. Commercials were asked for at 14/9, National of New Zealands at £-1 17/6. and New South Wales at £29 15/. For >.ew Zealand Insurances £1 17/6 was bid, and for South British £2 11/ was the highest offer. Many lines were unquoted. Hayward's Pictures eased further, with sellers at 11/. Government stocks, 4%, were offered at £100 5/ after a sale at par. For New Zealand Breweries £2 was the highest bid. SALES COMPLETED. AT THE 3.15 P.M. CALL YESTERDAY — Last Sale.
