ST. JOHN AMBULANCE.
STREET COLLECTION,
The St. John Ambulance will hold a street collection on Friday, October 3. As an indication of the importance of the work of this organisation, it is stated that on a Saturday when accurate records were made there were 108 members on duty at 48 sports grounds, and 300 cases of injury were treated. At the first aid, home nursing and home hygiene lectures last year there was an attendance of over 1000 students.
