FIRE AT BLENHEIM.
SHOP AND HAT FACTORY. (By Telegraph. — Press Association.) BLENHEIM, Friday Smart work by the tire brigade quelled an outbreak of tire in the business area of Blenheim early this morning. The outbreak occurred in shop premises i:; Market Street, occupied by Mr. R. O. Smart, clothier and mercer, and Mr. W. Barratt, hat manufacturer. Extensive damage was done to the contents of the shop, hut the hat factory cleaned with practically m> damage. The stock of hat-, however, in Mr: Ewart's slop was lw.d!\ damage!. The premises, which are owned by Mr. R. Ferric, are covered tor £fWO in the. Commercial Union Office. Mr. Ewavta stock is insured for £&30 iff the Puoen .v Office: There is a cover fa tie .<«m Office of £130 on the fittings., Mr Wratt's stock and-material* aie for £SOO in the Sun Office.
