FORMER TOWN BOARD CLERK CHARGES OF THEFT. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) lIA WE RA, this day. After protracted proceedings occupying two whole days the hearing was concluded late yesterday of ten charges against Donald Alexander Stewart of the theft of £3*2S as a servant while clerk of the Normanby Town Board, and also 24 charges of failing to enter moneys received with intent to defraud. Accused was committed for trial in the Supreme Court, bail of £200 being allowed.
