LAWN TENNIS.

WEST END CLUB.

At the annual meeting of the West End Tennis Club, Mr. E. J. Adams presiding, the balance-sheet showed the club to be in a healthy financial position. Accumulated funds stood at £ IC7 and liabilities nil. The membership totalled 37, as against 28 for the previous year. Following were the officers elected. Patron, Mr. J. N. Massey, M.P.; president, Mr. E. J. Adams; vice-presidents, Messrs. ,T. Michie, J. Townsend and C. Bennett, honorary secretary and treasurer, Mr. O. Pollock: auditor, Mr. Gordon Allen, committee, Messrs. C. Barton, J. Fisk, ft. Brownlee, G. Brownlee and Roy Fulton, delegates to Franklin Association, Messrs. Fulton and G. Brownlee. Opening day was fixed for October 11.

PRINCES CLUB,

At the annual meeting of the Princes Tennis Club, Devonport, there was a good attendance. The report and balancesheet showed a successful past season and a sound financial position. The following officers were elected: —President, Mr. Harris,; vice-presidents, Dr. Bennett. Messrs, Grahame, E. Coleman, King, Kennedy; secretary and treasurer, Mr. W. S. Tyson; club captain, Mr. D. Davi'es; management committee, Messrs. R. Watts, Brentnall, T. Byrnes; social committee, Mesdames Sword, Tyson, Misses I. Beeston, William-, son, Kennedy.

PAKAKURA CLUB.

A satisfactory credit balance was shown in the balancersheet presented at the annual meeting of the Fapakura Tennis Club, over which Mr. W. A. Pavitt presided. The rule relating to subscriptions was amended, so that the annual subscription will now be £1 15/ for men, £1 5/ for lady .members, £1 for junior men, 15/ for junior lady members, and 5/ for school children. Following were the officers elected: — Patron, Mr. E. B. McLennan; president, the chairman of the Papakura Town Board; vice-president, Rev. W. C. Wood and Messrs. W. A. Pavitt, A. IJ. McLennan and J. E. Elliott; club captain, Mr. G. F. McDonald.; secretary and treasurer, Mr. N. Widdowson ; committee, Misses A. McLennan, W. Wilkins and A.' Wilson. Mrs. Pavitt, Dr. W. G. Bridgman°and Messr?.
