FIRST CRUDE OIL BUS.
GREAT SAVING EXPECTED.
EUGBY, September 24.
The Crossley Motor Company, of Manchester, has just delivered to the Leeds Corporation the first all-British Dieselengined double-decker bus, which will run 100 miles on 2/7 worth of crude oil, as against 16/6 worth of fuel for a similar type of petrol bus. The Sheffield Corporation has been successfully running an experimental bus of this type for some months.
