IMPERIAL SMELTING CO. LONDON, September 23. The 'report of the Imperial Smelting Corporation shows a net profit of £196,012, in addition to which a balance of £30,360 was brought into the account at the beginning of the year. Dividends have been declared of 5 per cent on the ordinary shares, and 6% per cent on the preference shares. NEW COMPANIES. The following companies, the former public and the latter two private, have been registered in Auckland:— Graziers, Ltd.. wholesale and retail butchers, etc. Capital: £15,000, in £1 shares. Subscribers: C. S. Craig, G. B. Hooper, A. W. Andrews, R. A. Cleland, T. Allright, D. F. Smith and J. J. Smith, one share each. g A. Foster and Co..
