FLUCTUATIONS IN SHARES. FAIR BUSINESS PASSING. PRICES STILL FALLING. A chief feature of the Stock Exchange business is the continued ■weakness of Australian Banks and other Commonwealth securities, "with local stocks also affected, but to a lesser degree. Sales recorded yesterday afternoon and this morning reflect this trend, and at the first call fresh levels were indicated. Nationals of Australasia offered at £17 10/, Unions at £9 10/, and Commercials of Sydney at £17 10/ were all evidences of the drop. Kempthorne. Prossers were quoted ex div.. with sellers at £2 19/6, and New Zealand Breweries were available at £2 7/6. Commercials at 15/. At the noon call there was no improvement, and Commercials were sold as low as 15/, a drop of 4/9 since the beginning of the month. New Zealand Breweries were offered at £2 6/9, with £2 3/ the best buyer. Buyers for 4% Government stock raised their" bids to £99 17/6. SAXES COMPLETED. AT THE 3.15 P.M. CALL YESTERDAY—
