CONCERT AT PAPATOETOE.
A concert in aid of the funds of the Papatoetoe Town Band was given in the Town Hall, Papatoetoe, last evening.' The programme included selections by the band, songs by Miss Litherland and Mr. J'. Sanderson, and a playlet entitled " Fireworks " (Gertrude E. Jennings), produced by Mr. C. J. Mahon, and played by members of the Papatoetoe Literary, Debating, and Dramatic Society. The cast was: Clifford, Mr. Mervyn French; Bubbles, Mr. W. McFarland; Twinky (his wife), Miss Mabel Bryant; Freda, Miss M. McFarland; Lady Angela, Miss Lulu Hunter. The concert was followed by a dance.
