SUCCESSFUL DANCE.

The Sandringham branch of the Xew Zealand Labour party held a successful dance and euchre evening ■ recently: There was a splendid attendance, and a very happy time-was spent by all. The winners of.the euchre tournament were Mrs, Lenard and Mrs. M. Symonds and Mr. T. Aldridge and Mr. Tick. The organisers of the dancing were Messrs. J. T. Chadderton and Geo. Davies, while Mr. Adam Nixon conducted the euchre tournament. The winners of. the Monte Carlo waltz were Mrs. Patterson and Mrs. M. Eaves. Mr. J. Hoole organised the entertainment. Among those present were:—Mrs. -T. Hoole, who wore a frock of' black crepe de chine, with georgette frills; Mrs. H. Booth, navy blue crepe de chine; Mrs. G. Davies, ivory crepe de chine, with gold hem; Mrs. J. McMurgatroyd, pale green georgette over dark green panne velvet; Mrs. I. Bamber Green, pink georgette; Mrs. E. Clapp, silver lame and blue georgette; Mrs. A. Tate, blue and silver georgette; Mrs. Chadderton, cyclamen georgette; Mrs. F. Taylor, royal. blue molaine, with Oriental trimmings; Mrs. Paterson, creme beaded georgette; Mrs. M. Eaves, black georgette over satin; Mrs. Bennett, black beaded georgette; Mrs. V. Archibald, red figured ninon; Mrs. A. Russell, black ring velvet; Mrs. Warn, georgette ensemble; Mrs. C. Anderson, pale blue crepe de chine and gold lace; Mrs. E. Cook, red crepe de chine; Mrs. C. Leonard, flesh net frilled frock; Mrs. Belcher, blue satin; Mrs. H. G. Symonds, black lace net over satin; Mrs. R. G. Orr, blue embossed georgette: Mrs. E., F. Akersten, cinnamon georgette, with mushroom wrap; Mrs. MePike, navy blue crepe de chine; Mrs. Smith, pale blue crepe de chine, relieved with old gold;-Mrs.. K.
