FIRE ON RAKINO.
COTTAGE DESTROYED.
A four-roomed cottage on Rakino Island, in the Hauraki Gulf, owned by Mr. Gilbert Sanford, of King's Parade, Devonport, was completely destroyed by fire yesterday morning. The house was insured for £320 and the contents for £G0 with the New Zealand Insurance Company. HOUSE GUTTED. OUTBREAK AT WAOTU. A five-roomed house on the Waotu Road, Waotu, owned and- occupied by Mr. G. H; Hale, , was completely gutted by fire early on Monday morning. The house was insured for £250 and the eontents for £K>9, with the New Zealand .Insurance Company.
